It has been a long time coming , but I have finally started on my new website. It's work in progress and wont be finished for a few weeks BUT its a start!
The last few months have been challenging to say the least. Not just for me personally, but many businesses in Monmouth. The upgrade of the outdated water pipes by Welsh Water has had a huge impact on the town and footfall. Sadly, some of the businesses have already closed and sadly, more are rumoured to be following.
It's not all doom and gloom though, there are a few new businesses coming to town and with the summer holidays in full swing, we are hopeful that business will start picking up.
Personally, I have a lot going on with the shop and personal life. I've had a busy time with my children over the last few weeks with a graduation, a house move, medical appointments and time away. Being the only person in the shop means that I have had no option but to close. I really need to address this issue over the next few months.
There is some pretty big news coming soon. I hope to share it over the next week or two so keep your eyes peeled on the Facebook page.
There is nothing booked in terms of workshops and reading days at the moment as people are on holiday etc, but there is a lot going on in the background and we will be updating you with news of new workshops and readers. As always, these will be Facebook events and info will be posted as soon as we have the dates booked.
Thanks to all my customers for their continued support and I hope over the next few weeks, I'll be back to some kind of normality.
